Join Kansas City Young Professionals, presented by SocialHeart for our monthly networking happy hour taking place at the BRAND NEW County Road Ice House in Kansas City Power & Light District. The April happy hour is on Wednesday, April 4th, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
A $15 TICKET IS REQUIRED and will provide admittance and one ticket good for any canned or draft beer. County Road Ice House features Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que smoked meats, burgers, and tacos, and ice cold beer, served in a casual indoor and outdoor environment! Make plans to stick around after KCYP to enjoy dinner from a mouth-watering menu. Net proceeds from ticket sales will support SocialHeart’s featured charity of the month, Museum of Deaf History, Arts & Culture.
The mission of the Museum of Deaf History, Arts & Culture (MDHAC), formerly Deaf Culture Center, is to advance and preserve knowledge about Deaf people, their languages, cultures, and experiences in the United States and around the world. Through MDHAC, they will inspire visitors with meaningful appreciations of a rich and vibrant culturo-linguistic Deaf community, as well as, invoke the truth of their struggles and resistance. As a result of their work, the values and endeavors of Deaf people will be embraced.
SocialHeart is a 100% volunteer managed 501(c)(3) organization with a goal of creating a better community by supporting other local non-profits through hosting unique fundraising events and providing social media, marketing promotions and volunteer support directly to the non-profit.
