Mark Moberly graduated from Clinton High School in 2001 and attended William Jewell College, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Business with a Minor in Economics in 2005. Mark went on to graduate school at University of Missouri – Kansas City, earning a Master’s in Accounting in 2006. Mark began his career with Hawthorn Bank in Lee’s Summit, serving in many areas of banking and management over a six year career.
In 2011, he joined the Sunflower Development Group, a real estate development firm that focuses on historic properties in the downtown Kansas City area. At Sunflower, Mark has worked on financing, construction and leasing aspects of projects including the Cosby Hotel building, Ambassador Hotel and 215 W. Pershing building.
As a volunteer, Mark is active in the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, currently serving on their Board of Directors. Mark was also founding member of the YMCA Challenger program while at William Jewell, a sports program for children with special needs, serving as Chair of the Advisory Board for seven years. In addition, he is an active volunteer with Variety Children’s Charity of Greater Kansas City, serving on the Board of Directors and co-founder and immediate Past President of Young Variety. Mark is a resident of downtown Kansas City, enjoying the many opportunities for social and healthy living around the area.
